BCD Code is stand for Binary Coded Decimal .

Binary code is the best way to represent the decimal digit into binary equivalents . In this code each decimal digit is represented by a 4 bit binary number .

There are only ten code group in Binary Coded Decimal . It is fast and efficient system that convert the decimal number into binary equivalent .

It is the form of binary encoding where each digit in a decimal number is represented in the form of bits .

Thus BCD plays an important role here because the manipulation is done treating each digit as a separate single sub-circuit .
