OCR is stands for ( Optical Character Recognition ) . It is a technology that converts different types of documents such as scanned paper documents , pdfs or images captured by a digital camera into editable and searchable data . It recognizes  printed or handwritten text and translates it into machine-readable text .

 

MICR

MICR is stands for ( Magnetic Ink Character Recognition ) . It is a specific type of character recognition technology used primarily in banking . MICR uses magnetic ink and special characters to encode information and routing number on checks . It’s more focused on processing financial documents and is widely used in check processing systems .
